Synopsis:
This is a book about the greatest generation that ever lived. The pages touch such subjects as depression, battle fatigue, abusive drinking, and stress disorders. The timeline alternates with the modern day and the impact of current lifestyles.  The second half of the book lead to a philosophy that never occurred to the great minds of science or religion as the life of the main character finds destiny, a beginning for the next generation.  The demons of war in the Pacific and the stressors of modern society share the same symptoms thus forcing each of us to examine ourselves and find some meaning despite the constant problems we all face in our journey through life.

From the Author:
This is dedicated to my Father. He served in WWII in the Pacific and was at the locations in the story.  He is the main character, born into the greatest generation that ever lived. I hopefully captured his spirit.
