Some rubbing, approx. 1 inch split on front hinge. 469 pages with publisher advertisement for other "Five Little Pepper"Books in back. 87 illustrations, complete. Margaret Sidney is the pseudonym for Harriet Milford Stone Lothrop (1844-1924), a popular author of children's books. The "Five Little Peppers" series was her most popular.
