The original title for this children's novel is: "Story of Jack Halyard,the sailor boy, or the virtous family, designed for American children, in families and schools." It was first published in the 1820's. The booklet was also printed by Foster, who was director of the fine printing department of Scripps College. Printed in a small edition. 26 pages.
