About Sutton Books

Sutton Books has been selling online for more than a decade and offers an inventory of over 25,000 books, most of them works of scholarship in the various academic disciplines. Our used, rare and out-of-print books are in the fields of theology, religion, history, political science, music, the arts, English literature, philosophy, social sciences, medicine, and science. To provide excellent customer service, we exclude most fiction, poetry, and children’s books from our inventory. As members of the academy ourselves, we know the importance of research materials for scholars and we strive to offer books that are not easily located in traditional venues. Procuring inventory from both our extensive domestic travel and also from our European journeys, Sutton Books offers books by recognized authorities in their field as well as obscure hard-to-find titles and works.
