Goodwill changes lives by helping people with disabilities or disadvantages go to work. Since 1902, Goodwill's concept of building job skills, instead of giving handouts, has given people of all ages and backgrounds a chance to succeed. Tacoma Goodwill opened in 1921 as the 19th Goodwill in the United States, offering training and assistance for people with disabilities or disadvantages. Goodwill donations are still the backbone of Goodwill Industries. Goodwill receives more than 46 million pounds of donated goods each year. We fund most of our vocational programs through proceeds from our online sales, 25 retail stores, a packaging & assembly resource for businesses, an auto detailing shop, and commercial custodial services. We proudly serve the citizens of 15 counties in Washington State. Through our education, job training and job placement programs, your purchase helps us help thousands of people each year. We guarantee the condition of every book as it's described on the Abebooks web sites. If you're dissatisfied with your purchase (Incorrect Book/Not as Described/Damaged) or if the order hasn't arrived, you're eligible for a refund within 30 days of the estimated delivery date. Items sold will be shipped within 2 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Orders received after 8am Friday will go out the following Monday.
Items purchased with -Standard Shipping- are sent via USPS media mail. Expedited Shipping uses USPS Priority Mail. Delivery Tracking information is provided for both via email.
Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
Shipping refunds and return postage can be provided when the problem is due to our error, but we are otherwise unable to reimburse any shipping/postage costs.
All returns must be in the same condition as sold. We are not responsible for damage in transit. All non-deliverable items or unapproved returns will be considered a Goodwill donation.
