About the Author: D. Michael Battey is a former United States Navy nuclear engineer who served during the Vietnam conflict. After attending Palmer College of Chiropractic, he managed a private practice in Florida for nearly thirty years. Now semiretired, he resides and works in Orlando, Florida, where he loves spoiling his miniature pinscher, Lula.
