Later binding. Marbled paper over boards, backed in blue cloth, tiny gilt-stamped lettering on spine ("Tissages / Panckoucke / Paris 1786"); 4to (200x256mm); contains an assemblage of 59 plates (39 of them double-page) on weaving, likely from Charles-Joseph Panckoucke's "Encyclopédie Méthodique." Charles-Joseph Panckoucke (26 November 1736 - 19 December 1798) was a French writer and publisher.
