Number 25 from a limited edition of 100 copies, signed by the author on the limitation page, and with a frontispiece portrait of the author by Ansel Adams. From the library of Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., with his bookplate on the front paste-down. Additionally inscribed by Burton in the margins of his portrait, to Fairbanks (1909-2000), an American actor (his credits include "Gunga Din") and a highly decorated naval officer of World War II.
