About the Author: Irene Nero is currently an Assistant Professor of art history at Southeastern Louisiana University, where she teaches modern and contemporary art history. She received her Ph.D. from Florida State University upon completion of her dissertation on Frank Gehry and continues to explore issues in modern and contemporary art and architecture.
