Description:

One page, 5 x 6 1/2 inches, dated May 24, 1950. Naomi Jacob was an English actress and author of fiction and non-fiction. This typed letter, signed, is addressed to Northern California book dealer, Lester Roberts, concerning her first book. Her letter begins: "In reply to your letter of April 19th. I cannot remember the exact date of the first book I published but I should imagine it was about 1925". She continues: "The book was called 'Jacob Usher', and was a very free adaptation of a play called 'Birds of a Feather' by the late H. V. Esmond". Bookseller Inventory # 3690
