A 2 page typed, signed (Lillian McCue) letter to her friend and advisor Dr. Ted Peterson who at the time resided in Colorado Springs but later taught at the University of Illinois. She talks about the previous book (which has not been published as of yet) and other things. A broadside she published entitled "This I Believe.". A personal invitation to Peterson on an illustrated card she had made for a Christmas event; A one page handwritten letter to Peterson; A Newspaper review of Villainy with her picture on it; Another 3 page handwritten letter written to Peterson in 1948 on light blue stationary; A 3 page letter on white stationary; Another 1 page, 4 line note to Peterson concerning some material she sent him; a two page typed, signed letter to Peterson concerning their shared interest in collecting Broadsides and Crime Trial material; A handwritten, signed postcard concerning the publishing of Villainy and a book she is sending him; 2 other signed postcards with short notes; An obituary from the NY Times after her death at age 91. A great collection that lends a lot of unknown information concerning this author. The book is in very good condition with light wear and no markings.
