About Walk A Crooked Mile Books
We have an open shop in the Northwest section of Philadelphia in the Chestnut Hill, Mt Airy neighborhood. We are in a beautiful 1882 train station designed by the noted architect, Frank Furness. The train station is on a working commuter rail line. We keep the coffee pot on all day and offer complimentary coffee, tea, or cocoa to book browsers. We have eight rooms of books, upstairs and down in this wonderful space and our books range from paperback literature, detective, and science fiction at $2 to rare and collectible books. We'd love to have you visit our friendly shop, open 10a.m. - 4p.m. Monday and Tuesday, 10-6 Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 12-4 Sunday. We are closed on Wednesdays.
