About Arroyo Seco Books, IOBA

ABE bookseller since 1998. We have ABE listings for about 10,000 books in all fields. We maintain a large stock of books in science, art, philosophy, social science, literature, children's books and science fiction, and we are interested in purchasing libraries and collections of collectible books in those fields. Our ABE listings are organized into over 100 subject catalogs on ABE for books and original art. We are open by appointment in Pasadena, California. California 8.75% sales tax is required for books mailed to a California address. Foreign shipments are sent via Priority Mail which includes insurance and tracking, but which requires extra fees for books too large or fragile for a Priority Mail fixed rate card envelope.

Items are returnable for any reason within 14 days of receipt, or for a longer period by mutual agreement; for returned items, phone or e-mail notice is required, as well as proper packing and, if appropriate, insurance. Shipping Terms:

Shipment at standard rates is for small to standard sized books via media mail within U.S., and via Priority Mail overseas, uninsured. Standard shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG.; if a book order is heavier or oversized, extra shipping may be required. Insurance, express mail or registration is extra. Overseas shipments are charged estimated postage and shipping costs, including additional insurance for shipments valued at over $85 unless shipment is made at buyer's risk. Foreign shipments indicate the actual purchase price on the Customs statement.
