Algebra: Concepts and Applications, Volume 1 and Volume 2, ©2004 cover all Algebra 1 concepts in a two-volume format that uses a clean lesson design with many detailed examples and straightforward narration that make Algebra 1 topics inviting and Algebra 1 content understandable for students who are challenged by high school mathematics.

Volume 1 contains Chapters 1-8 plus an initial section called Chapter A which includes a pretest, lessonson prerequisite concepts, and a posttest. Volume 2 contains Chapters 8-15 plus an initial section called Chapter B that includes a pretest, a one-page review of each lesson in Chapters 1-7 of Volume 1, and a posttest.
