The demographic changes taking place in those remnants of Jewish communities in the Arab countries, together with the political changes taking place in the Middle East, have motivated the unusual photographic project of documenting the Jews living in Arab lands today. Closely following the peace process, this catalogue will be sure to inspire wide interest. The countries represented -- Yemen, Egypt, Syria, morocco and Tunisia -- depict the current existence of Jews, stressing the characteristics of each community through its cultural, economical, social, and human aspects.
