'The True Artist is an Amazing Luminous Fountain' is the title of a neon piece created by Bruce Nauman in 1966 for the window of his studio. Around the same time, Nauman made a group of related drawings and photographic works, all exploring the significance of his artistic methods with characteristically wry humor. typical of these works is Nauman's concern with the body, both as a motif in his work and as a primary means of expression.
