Tracing policy since the Six Day War of 1967, three Israeli insiders provide a behind-the-scenes, in-depth investigation of how the Israeli government failed in its rule of Jerusalem, exacerbating the inequities between Arabs in east Jerusalem and their Jewish and Christian neighbors in west Jerusalem. The authors claim their intention is not to publicize the dirty laundry of Israeli rule but to bring to focus the mistakes of the past in order to help build a better future.
