About Bailgate Books Ltd

Bailgate Books is situated in an historic listed building in the Cathedral quarter of top of the hill Lincoln. It is at the junction of Bailgate and Eastgate opposite to the White Hart Hotel close to the Cathedral and Castle. We sell from the shop and on-line. All books that are available on-line are also availble from the shop. The book shop is deceptively larger than it looks from the outside and has five rooms and passages full of books. The range of second hand and antiquarian books available in the shop very greatly exceeds those shown on the internet. There is a large selection of local history, topography and literature books, good selections of many types of fiction and non-fiction. Books are fully categorised and simple to find on well-ordered shelves in light airy rooms. We also sell a variety of honey from our own bees and hand-crafted candles. We are open 7 days a week, please ring us (01522 579222) for details of opening hours on any particular day.
