Rhyme and reason

I love rhyming slang and I’m thinking of buying this book for a few of my Canadian colleagues. Why doesn’t North America introduce rhyming slang?

    I do enjoy the rhyming slang, even when I have no idea what they are saying.

    I’m sure the movie “It’s all gone Pete Tong” helped in your cause … but I suspect it will remain a English affectation.
