Rare medical books in state of ruin
The Calcutta Medical College in India is in a quandry about what to do with several thousand rare medical books. It tried to give them to India’s National Library who refused to take them.
Here’s an example of one of the books that is housed in the college’s library “in a state of permanent ruin.”

You could put them on ABEbooks to sell! If you want to sell as a lot, you could compile a brief author/title list and submit
to a rare medical book dealer (I can give you a list of them).
I might also wish to purchase a select few of the books if you sent me
the list. The other alternative is to contact an auction house
like Swann, Christies, or Sothebys. If the books are in reasonable condition, that might generate the
most income. Good luck! Jan
