Oprah picks Sidney Poiter’s The Measure of a Man
Oprah has another book club pick, a pretty safe one. It’s Sidney Poitier’s autobiography published in 2000Â The Measure of a Man. He also wrote another book in 1987 - This Life.

Oprah has a way about her that is inspiring and touching. She has got people back to remembering what it was like to touch, smell and read a book. For that - I am impressed.

as a little boy growing up in then british guyana i was always a big fan of sidney poitier i rember the first movie i saw him in was the diefient ones with cornel wields and my mother would always remind me you could run but you cant hide i always want to meet him in porson but every time he comes to miami the news always tell us when he leaves i would love tomeet him in person i belive there is onley one person besides GODcould make this happen that is the queen of talk shows (OPRAH) )thank you ROBBY THORNHILL

I thank God all day long for always putting things in my presents to help me to my best with my boys it very hard to raise them without the proper education but with god he always makes way i always tell my kids to pick up a book and I have my oldest i told him to read this book everything helps god put things in your pass for reason take it and run with it truley always remember how good god is. He is merciful God.
