The next big thing, Davie Balfour for free and that Potter book
In the UK, the Daily Telegraph asks who are going to be the next mega-selling authors…. James Siegel (author of Derailed, Detour and Deceit, and probably some other books begining with De) is apparently the No. 1 contender now that King, Clancy, Steel and Patterson are 60 this year.
Plenty of free copies of Robert Louis Stevenson’s Kidnapped in Edinburgh. Kidnapped is such a fine story - one of my favourite books as a child. I read that book again and again.
(Psst, by the way, Harry Potter and the Deadly Shallows, no, I mean Harry Potter and the Dearthly Marshmallows, or rather Harry Potter and the Earthy Hollows - anyway, Harry Potter 7 on July 21st but keep it under your hat or everyone will find out)
