I’ll admit I’ve been drawn to the Anna Nicole Smith story. The whole thing is sad, particularly as she leaves a young baby in the middle of a ridiculous paternity battle and lost her son last year.

Who knew that there was a book about her? Not me. However, the New York Times reports that the publisher of Great Big Beautiful Doll - a little-known biography from 1996 by Eric and D’Eva Redding - is responding to thousands of requests for the book from booksellers across North America.

Great Big Beautiful Doll seems to be the only book on the market about Anna Nicole and original copies have probably been gathering dust in used bookstores for the past 11 years.

Or is it the only book out there? Did Playboy publish a pictorial book about her. This listing certainly looks like another book.

It seems the issues of Playboy that were graced by Anna Nicole Smith are also in demand - $60 for the February 2001 issue.
