Stripper scoops literary award
Various stories around this morning but the one that caught my eye came from the Daily Mail in the UK which reports that a former stripper called Fiona Dunscombe has won the £10,000 Dundee International Book Prize for The Triple Point Of Water. She said: “Something I wanted to communicate was that when you strip for a living there’s an assumption it’s all you’re capable of.”
