Yann Martel vs. Stephen Harper
It turns out Life of Pi author Yann Martel is deciding to champion arts funding in Canada in his own way. He has begun sending one book every two weeks to the Prime Minister, Stephen Harper. A list of the books sent, the letters he sends, and any replies from the Prime Minister are going to be posted on his website WhatisStephenHarperReading.com
The story was revealed in The Globe and Mail over the weekend.

I don’t think you really mean “The story was reviled”. Parliament was reviled a bit by Yann Martel, certainly.
Perhaps “The story was revealed”?

I’m looking to see if you have Yann Martel’s email by any chance. If you do please send it to the email address provided. Thank You.

I think Yann Martel should reword his title to the more obvius-whatisstephenharpernotreading. Do you know of any blog that is discussing the books that he lists and his letters about the books?

Obviously, the word should be spelled, obvious!

to Jenelle Mitchell: additionally, he could have a sideshow on the current website (based on Harp’s expanding girth)

to Yann Martel: very provocative…both absurd and sublime. I am very glad you are doing your site. Your commentary is thorough and should be required reading in schools across the country.

I also would like to have Yann Martel’s address as I would like to send him a most sincere thank you email or letter. First, I teach Grade 12 English in Ontario and my students have been very influenced by his book. Secondly, on a personal note, my daughter met him at The Think Again conference in Ottawa in 2002 where he was one of the featured Canadians artists. He spoke to her personally and gave her some very valuable advice. She has followed this advice and it has significantly impacted on the course of her life. I would like to tell him how.
