Mick Jagger’s autobiography
It’s a pleasure to be able to link to The Sun this morning - the king of the British tabloids. The ‘Currant Bun’ tells us how Mick Jagger has considered writing a biography but has dropped the idea because the writing process is just too boring. The article doesn’t mention that Mick spends most of his free time watching cricket matches. If you’re really keen on reading Mick’s story, there’s plenty of books about him.

If the implication of this comment is that cricket is boring you have completely missed the point. Cricket, at most levels, is not just a game, it is the a philosophical exercise, understood by few out side England, Australasia, Southern Africa the West Inides and of course over a billion people in the Indian subcontinent.

Tony,
I did not imply that cricket was boring. I played and watched cricket all my life until coming to Canada where I am limited to following the score on the Internet. I love cricket books and some of my fondest memories are watching games at Lords and Edgbaston. I’ve even been lucky enough to help out the Professional Cricketers Association and meet plenty of high profile players - both past and present.
Regards
Richard
