AbeBooks.com staff held workshops for young writers at two libraries in Victoria last weekend. About 70 kids in total participated in the three events, writing wonderful stories for the first hour and then making and binding their stories into books in the second hour. Kids were invited to participate in a Harry Potter costume contest, and the best costume at each event took home a coveted Harry Potter action figure. Our very own staffer, Steph, made an appearance as Harry Potter himself at the downtown library.
