Blonde Ambition
Some might say the title “Blonde Ambition” equally applies to the author, “investigative journalist” Rita Cosby as it does to the subject, Anna Nicole Smith. Cosby has taken on one of the most covered and controversial events of the year in her book, Blonde Ambition: The Untold Story Behind Anna Nicole Smith’s Death, which has just been released in the US.
The book is most certainly destined for success now that both Howard K. Stern (Smith’s fiancé) and Larry Birkhead (the father of Smith’s infant daughter) are suing Cosby. The book’s release also coincides with baby Dannielynn’s first birthday and the anniversary of the death of Smith’s son.  (There’s nothing like scandal and a good tug at the heart-strings to get people reading.)
Not surprisingly, comments from Stern, Birkhead and Cosby read like tabloid fare.Â
Personally, I think I’ll skip the book. The characters just don’t seem believable.
