A Lion Called Christian earns book deal thanks to Youtube

I didn’t know anything about Christian the Lion until this morning. Apparently, Random House has signed a two-book deal to republish adaptations of a 1971 book called A Lion Called Christian by John Rendall and Ace Bourke, and all because of a two-minute YouTube clip. (Watch clip here – it’s a feel-good thing).

The clip shows the reunion of two men and their lion, Christian, after he had been released into the wild. AbeBooks has just three copies of A Lion Called Christian.
