Sad news from the UK - Oliver Postgate has died at the age of 83. That’s a huge chunk of my childhood heading up to heaven. The Clangers, Noggin the Nog, Ivor the Engine and Bagpuss - all Postgate creations that fascinated children in a completely different age of television.
