Don’t forget! The Annual Victoria Times-Colonist Book Sale is tomorrow, Saturday February 21, and Sunday, February 22nd, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at NOW Furniture (2269 Douglas).
Tips:
-You’re going to stand in line, probably for an hour or more. Wear warm clothes and good shoes.
-You’re going to stand in line, probably for an hour or more. Bring water or coffee or snacks or a book or another person to talk to or a crossword puzzle.
-A lot of the books are in boxes UNDER tables. You may crawl. I would advise comfy clothes - no skirts and nylons.
-Set the absolute maximum you can afford to spend beforehand. Try not to exceed that number by more than double. 
-You’ll be given a box when you go in, and you’ll add books you want to buy to that box. Keep an eye on it, because eventually, someone will mistake it for a box of for-sale books, grab it, and start rummaging. Biting is rarely necessary, but baring your teeth or making yourself very big to assert your dominance is helpful.
-Clear you calendar for the next month: you’re going to be reading. And very, very happy.
