Booker prize-winning author Aravind Adiga plans to release a second fictional work in July 2009, according to The Guardian. The author’s debut novel, The White Tiger, only took the Booker in October of 2009. adiga is able to release his second book so quickly as he was writing it at the same time as The White Tiger.

Between the Assassinations, which is already a bestseller in India, is a collection of overlapping stories charting the lives of the residents of a fictional Indian town over the seven-year period between the assassinations of Indira Gandhi and her son Rajiv.
