Jack Hunter, Blue Max author, dies


Novelist Jack D. Hunter, famous for writing The Blue Max in 1964, has died at the age of 87. He was suffering from cancer, according to this newspaper report. The Blue Max is the tale of a German flying ace from World War I and eventually became a movie in 1966 starring the beautiful duo of George Peppard and Ursula Andress.
