Portly actor Dom DeLuise died yesterday at 75. You’ll have seen him in the wonderful final fight scene of Blazing Saddles (”throw out your hands, stick our your tush….” - see Youtube below) and in less wonderful films like The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, The Muppet movie and the Cannonball Runs, but he also wrote a lot of children’s books and cookbooks.
