I came across this book cover yesterday, Hemingway’s A Farewell to Arms, and look who is on the cover. It took me a moment or two to recognise it at George Hamilton, a very young George Hamilton without that ridiculous tan. Apparently, the BBC broadcasted an adaptation of the book in February 1966 with Vanessa Redgrave playing Catherine.
George Hamilton in 2009 is a completely different kettle of fish.
