Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol Achieves Record-Breaking Sales
Although not out-doing J.K. Rowling, Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol has broken records with sales of more than 550,000 copies within the first week in the UK alone.
Within the first 24 hours of sales, over one million copies of the book were sold in the USA, Canada and the UK.

Can you tell me if the ebook biz of http://www.darkcastle.com is for real? It looks like they’re still developing the site, but the premise looks interesting. Anyway, has anyone here heard of them; and, are they legit? Thanks.
Half-a-million copies of a dreadful effort. What a waste of trees, money and time that could be spent reading something literate and informative.
Unfortunately we live in an age where books like the Twilight series are on the bestseller lists for months and months and months . . . Sigh. . .
