A photo from Tiger Woods’ infamous crash reveals there was a book in the golfer’s car. Get a Grip on Physics by John Gribbin is pictured on the floor among the broken glass. It’s an interesting book to be reading. Gribbin is a prolific science writer from the UK, who has been publishing books since 1976.
Of course, this story would be more interesting if The End of the Affair by Graham Greene was found in the car.
Other suggestions (from my cynical colleagues) for books that Tiger could have been reading include:
My Life by Bill Clinton
Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy
Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert
Lady Chatterley’s Lover by D.H. Lawrence
Tess of the d’Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy
Does anyone else see the irony of a book called Tiger’s New Swing?
