This weekend marks one of my favourite events of the year. Our local daily, the Times Colonist, is sponsoring their annual book sale where I can peruse an arena full of books, picking up reading copies for the next few months.

It seems that the folks down at the TC should have read our Things Found in Books feature from a couple years back, maybe then they would have known to expect to find passports, pot leaves and pies among their literary treasures.

The sale happens this weekend, May 15 and 16 at the Victoria Curling Club. Doors open at 9 a.m. both days.
