The Field of Dreams is for sale. Although cricket is my true love, if I had $5.4 million knocking around then I’d love to buy the 193-acre Iowa farm, complete with cornfield and baseball diamond, where the movie was made.

The movie, of course, was based on WP Kinsella’s peerless baseball novel, Shoeless Joe. I love the book, but I also love the movie. It was one of the rare moments where Hollywood can match the author’s achievements. I can imagine that it’s place that makes people very happy.
