AbeBooks introduces multiple bookseller-supplied images
AbeBooks has just introduced the capability for our booksellers to upload listings with multiple images. As regular customers will be aware, you will see two sorts of images on AbeBooks’ listings – stock images (pulled from a database) and bookseller-supplied images (photographs taken by the seller him or herself).
You will now start seeing listings accompanied by up to five bookseller-supplied images. There is a little ‘More Images’ link beneath the book’s main image in the search results. Click through and take a tour of the book. We only introduced this functionality last week and sellers have already embraced it. Typically, it means you are now going to see the spine, the rear cover, signatures, illustrations and other pages of interest as well as the front cover.
