Philosopher’s Stone first edition stolen

A first edition of Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone has been stolen from a gallery in Woodstock – a sleepy little town in Oxfordshire. It’s probably one of the dumbest thefts in rare book history as the tea leaves will never be able to sell it. Every Tom, Dick and Harry knows about this book. The Daily Mail has a big story on the theft. The book belonged to dealer Adrian Greenwood.
