Unicorn Vengeance by Claire Delacroix – Worst Sentence Ever Written?

unicorn-vengeance-claire-delacroixWe’re all killing ourselves laughing after reading this blog entry from the Crap Archivist, about the Harlequin Romance novel Unicorn Vengeance by Claire Delacroix. I was very excited to see we had so many copies available for sale. The snippets posted alone had me really wanting to read this book. I won’t give away the winner of the worst sentence ever, but some of the doozy runners-up included:

“Aye, this night Wolfram would know the fullness of mating.”

“Well did Wolfram intend to satisfy both their desires this evening. Mayhap over and over the whole night through.”

and my favourite:

“Something unnerving there was about his stare.”

Oh man, it’s just too good.

Have you read Uncle Flynn by Simon Dillon? Its really good. Admittedly there are no corkingly bad one-liners about the fullness of mating, but its a cracking story. Its available as download at Amazon.co.uk.
