Here is round one of Neil Gaiman versus Matt Dean. You all know Gaiman but Dean is the Minnesota House of Representatives majority leader (Gaiman makes his home in Minnesota).

Mr Dean has called the author a “pencil-necked little weasel” over a public appearance fee of $45,000 that he earned for speaking at a Minnesota library. Gaiman handed the money over to a couple of charities. If it’s just a verbal joust then I’m backing Gaiman.
