Amy Stewart’s Wicked Plants Follow-up: Wicked Bugs

You may remember we did an interview with the charming and quirky Amy Stewart, author of the wonderfully macabre and fascinating book Wicked Plants, all about the dastardly villains of the plant kingdom – poisonous roots and shrubs, flowers disguised as other flowers, plants designed to attract prey, even carnivorous plants. She’s a really neat lady.

And now, she’s followed up Wicked Plants with her latest book, Wicked Bugs: The Louse that Conquered Napoleon’s Army and Other Diabolical Insects, which will no doubt be just as funny, engrossing and strange. BoingBoing has an interview with Stewart in which she talks about – and even shows some – Wicked Bugs.
