Turn of the Century Shape Books

A shape book is a book die-cut into a specific figure. Rather than the standard square or rectangle, it can be cut to form a fire engine, a teddy bear, or whatever else the designer can achieve.

From children’s books to poetry and beyond, shape books are still popular today, and many of the Victorian-era examples are now highly prized by collectors. Have a look at this great selection of collectible shape books, in every shape imaginable. Gorgeous.
