10 Gorgeous Books with Retro Covers. Groovy, Baby.

I keep coming across books with fantastic, retro cover art – though, given their publication dates, they weren’t retro at the time. I love this kind of art – it reminds me of The Jetsons, and Eames furniture, and most of the decor I remember seeing in episodes of The Brady Bunch. They’re a pleasure to look at. I love the Asbestos book, too.

Big Sur by Jack Kerouac

The Magic Barrel by Bernard Malamud

Young Man with a Screwdriver by Oliver Evans

This Island Earth by Raymond F. Jones

The Decisive Moment by Henri Cartier-Bresson

French Family Cooking in Plain English by sheila Steen
Siddhartha by Herman Hesse

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey

Asbestos by Fabien Frere
Bang the Drum Slowly by Mark Harris
