Visit the 2012 Toronto International Antiquarian Book Fair
Attention Canadian bibliophiles – the three-day Toronto International Antiquarian Book Fair begins on Friday 12th October. After a 15-year hiatus, the fair returned in 2010 and is currently going from strength to strength with a massive array of rare books set to be displayed. You can see a few of the gems from last year’s show below. My colleague Lindsay Thompson will be walking the floor – please say hello if you see her.
You can find the fair, sponsored in part by AbeBooks.com, in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and the hours are 5pm to 9pm on Friday 12th, 11am to 6.30pm on Saturday 13th and 12 noon to 5pm on Sunday 14th.
There will be booksellers from Canada, the United States and Europe, including Paul Foster, Bernard Quaritch and Peter Harrington from London, Bauman Books from Philadelphia, Aquila Books from Calgary, Donald A. Heald from New York, Steven Temple from Toronto, and Bjarne Tokerud from Victoria.
