Monday, January 19th, 2009

Edgar Allan PoeMaster of the Macabre Edgar Allan Poe was born on January 19th, 1809. If he were alive today, he would have 200 candles on his cake. He didn’t quite make it, though, dying at 40 in mysterious circumstances. His cause of death has been speculated enough to generate rumours of alcohol, brain congestion, cholera, drugs, heart disease, rabies, suicide, tuberculosis, and other agents.
