Check out Time Magazine’s review of Inkheart, I find it funny that they did not question the realism of a man who could bring books to life by reading them but rather questioned his inability to use the internet to find his out of print book.
For nine long years, Mo has been dragging the poor girl on a tour of European bookshops looking for the out-of-print Inkheart, hoping to read his wife back out. Presumably the story is set in a time before the Internet, when abebooks.com might have helped him out
If you happen to be questing for your copy of Inkheart not only are first editions easily available, but there’s also a film tie-in version readily in print.
