Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -Script from the year 2007 in the subject Romance Languages - Italian and Sardinian Studies, grade: keine, , language: Italian, abstract: Mirrors, Umberto Eco states, produce a duplication of reality, so that a subject feels splitted in facing himself. Also Lacan's psychoanalytic theory links the mirror and the divided self. Therefore, mirroring can be regarded as a sign for an identity crise. Main themes in Pirandello's novel The old and the young (1938) are relations between reality and unreality, and identity crises: the latter are often signalized by mirroring. The novel is analysed and compared with other Pirandellian works, lyrics and novels by different authors, referring to thoughts of psychologists, philosophers and semiologists. 24 pp. Italienisch.

Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. Druck auf Anfrage Neuware - Printed after ordering - Doctoral Thesis / Dissertation from the year 2007 in the subject Musicology - Miscellaneous, grade: 110/110 mit Auszeichnung, Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali 'Gaetano Braga' Teramo (Italien), language: Italian, abstract: The concept of interpretation has a very broad application, since it is used within the philosophical, literary, philological, religious, juridical and psychoanalytical fields, in the arts, in music, dance and drama. This work is about interpretation as road toward consciousness, which the receiver will go along in order to choose his own interpretation of the object he is relating to. In fact, each interpretation highlights the main characteristics of the object and, at the same time, the principal interpretive values which the interpreter refers to.In the first part, comparisons are made between the different fields in which interpretation is practised, in order to find out if there are relevant analogies among them, and if analogous epistemological criteria could be used in the relative research. The second part concerns musical interpretation, and focuses on specific questions: hermeneutic and performative interpretation, problems relating to musical texts, issues concerning ancient and contemporary music, different interpretive criteria, and the role and function of the teacher of performative interpretation.

Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -Document from the year 2008 in the subject Musicology - Miscellaneous, grade: keine, , language: Italian, abstract: In a musical performance, the performer can control some elements, such as - the selection of appropriated execution variables, which he chooses according to valid historical, stylistic, interpretive principles - the selection of a suitable tuning for the repertoire which he aims to perform. On the contrary, he can't completely control other elements, such as - the acoustic characteristics of the concert hall - its furniture, which can be phonoabsorbing or phonoreflecting - the audience, and for each spectator, age, hearing characteristics and habits, personal taste. Yet the interpreter can have an influence even on these elements, for instance choosing, in his performance, execution tempo, dynamics, caesuras, pedalization. For these reasons, an interpreter shall know how the choice of a tuning is linked with the coeval principles of music aesthetics and organology, and with acoustics and psychoacoustics themes. This book concerns core questions about acoustics, psychoacoustics and tunig of keyboard instruments. 124 pp. Italienisch.

Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. 196 pp. Italienisch.

Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -Document from the year 2008 in the subject Musicology - Miscellaneous, , 160 entries in the bibliography, language: Italian, abstract: In music therapy practice, therapist and patient cover a shared route which may let them grow in broad-mindedness, self-comprehension and -integration, social integration, psychophysical balance, development of interests, motivations and self-esteem. Patient is challenged to believe in the possibility of changing, and therapist is challenged to help him/her fit into living life to the full. But sometimes it isn't easy to work with patients who choose to be mute and inactive during music therapy sessions for so long time that we could almost say 'they refuse to communicate'.Nevertheless, according to Watzlawick's theory, we know that it is impossible not to communicate, because each behaviour is a communication act; even when the patient maintains a stubborn silence, the music therapist can set up a musical dialogue with him, 'translating' in sounds and music the patient's non-musical behaviours (exclamations, gestures, movements, etc.).Therefore, in this work, music therapy activities are considered mainly as communication activities, framing them in the field of general communication and connecting them with activities in the verbal and in the non-verbal field. Then this work analyses some basic ideas of the sound-music communication (relationship through different perception systems, parameters of sound and noise, physical and 'psychological' effects of an exposition to sounds and noises, etc.), stressing the consequences which can derive from these previous statements and citing reference cases. Finally this study suggests some communication techniques, based on the use of the languages of sound (speech and music), citing the experiences of famous music therapists, and supplies materials which can be used in work-shops on expression and communication through sounds. 160 pp. Italienisch.
